Insight Global is seeking a C# Developer to join one of our largest chemical clients in the country. This role is going to be supporting a major project the organization has been working on for years and will be working with a small team of testers and developers that are primarily based in the Naperville area. You will be developing frameworks for test scripts to be developed and automated. This is 70% development and 30% testing. This role is on site 5 days a week due to equipment needed for the role not being transportable.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of development experience using C# and JavaScript
- Experience developing an automation testing layer
- Experience writing test cases and extensive understanding of test validation
- Experience in white-box testing
- Experience working independently while also asking questions when there is something you don't understand
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of developing/testing embedded software applications
- Familiarity with Gerkin/Jenkins/Cucumber
- Testing experience in ARM based microcontrollers, such as ST Micro, NXP, or Silicon Labs EFM
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- DevOps mindset experience
This position is a 6-month contract to hire role. It will work hybrid, 3 days/week in office.
